The word body focuses our attention on the physical and mortal aspects of life. The body is the integral physical substance of a living organism. Physiology is the study of the unified systems and functions of a living organism. By extension, the word body can also refer to the fundamental character, appearance, texture, or content of something. In each sense, the word body serves to focus our exploration on revealing the essence, integrity, unity and fundamental nature of a living organism or object.

Theme 2: Mind

How should I live? What happens when I die? The path of spirituality embraces deeply personal investigation into the nature of truth, purpose and meaning. To be spiritual means to embrace the universal mystery and illusive nature of life itself.

Theme 5: Experience
To explore experience means to extend our understanding of the situations and circumstances we find ourselves in throughout the confluence of everyday life. Though we can describe shared or collective experiences, each person’s experience in life is unique and individual. Our interpretation of our experience creates our identity and sense of belonging in life. How we interpret our experiences in life also defines our actions and intentions toward ourselves and others. While experience can be shared and expressed, the pursuit of experience is ultimately a solitary endeavor.
